25th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
RCR is proud to be celebrating 25yrs of supporting the boating community and wants everyone to join in with our festivities.
We will be running competitions and events throughout the year with £1000s of pounds worth of prizes up for grabs each month. Look out on social media, our website and magazines to make sure you don’t miss out.
The celebrations will culminate in an event in June, with everyone invited to join us. All proceeds will be going to our local charity, Stafford Riverway Link – a charity working to connect the Staffs & Worcs Canal with the rivers Penk/Sow, enabling navigation onto Stafford town centre.
JUNE 8th CELEBRATIONS EVENT DETAILS
Boaters are invited to a free outdoor celebration on Sunday 8 June from 8am- 7pm at the site of the Stafford Riverway Link HQ (and opposite to RCR HQ), Baswich Lane, Stafford ST18 0YJ (what three words cracks.lowest.mile).
There’ll be a Boat jumble from 8am-12pm.
From 1pm, the gates will open for live music, food/drink, roving traders, children’s entertainment, activities, prize draws, stalls, exhibitors and awards for boaters who’ve undertaken the most adventurous and longest journeys to attend. There will also be a prize for the ‘Best Dressed Boat’
Mooring facilities are available for roving traders, and mooring further along the Staffs & Worcs canal for non-traders. Parking is also available at nearby RCR HQ at Tilcon Avenue ST18 0YJ.
Bringing together the local community, boaters, past and current RCR members, staff and families.

February:
- 2 places on RCR Maintenance course on March 4th (worth £300 each)
- 1 Bronze membership (£195 )
- 2 BilgeAway Filters (£100 each)
- 5 Engine Maintenance Books (£20)
